A farewell, and a tribute

To My Thirties

2016-2026

Thank you for being fierce, being lost, and never settling.

This decade began with a pocketful of dreams in a backpack and a hard-seat train ticket to an unfamiliar city.

There were cold convenience-store meals at midnight, and proposals finished just before dawn. I hit my share of walls, but I also saw landscapes I once thought were beyond my reach.

Today, I leave these wild, headlong years right here. I will not look back, but I carry every ounce of courage they gave me into the next morning.
